The logo....

Dieses Bild ist ein Foto von unendlich vielen, die ich vor etlichen Jahren bei dem Besuch eines "Ksar" in Tunesien geschossen habe.

Ein Ksar ist eine kleine Festung mit all diesen Lehm-Waben, in denen Vorräte gelagert wurden und auch Menschen Schutz fanden, sofern dies Warenlager angegriffen wurde.

This picture is one of a lot I took several years ago by visiting an Tunesian "Ksar" in the Tunesian desert.

A "Ksar" is a small "Fort" with all these small combs made from brickearth in which people stored their stocks and also found shelter if they were attacked by enemies.

Auf jeden Fall haben mich diese Fotos dann inspiriert, sie teilweise zu colorieren (warum auch immer), und dieses Bild blieb auf meinen Festplatten.
Anyway these photoes inspired me a lot and I coloured them particulary and stored them on my PC.

Jetzt endlich weiß ich, warum - es entspricht einfach meiner Seele, meinem Ich - da ist so vieles, was ich noch gar nicht kenne,  oder was ich gar nicht mehr erfahren werde - und ich muß mich damit begnügen, in die bisher bunten Kämmerchen hineinzugehen und sie zu erforschen.

In the meantime I know why - it simply is a picture of my soul - there are so many things which I do not know or what I will never discover - so I have to be satisfied to explore the coloured ones.
